TIL's commitments

Since its creation, TIL TECHNOLOGIES has implemented an ambitious social policy and, in 2004, signed up to the UN Global Compact.

The vocation of TIL and the VITAPROTECH Group - the safety of goods and people - naturally brings it into line with the sustainable development approach: in environmental terms, as well as in its human and economic aspects.

TIL TECHNOLOGIES has always been committed to achieving economic performance while respecting the environment and social equity, and has made this an integral part of its strategy, culture and day-to-day activities.

A committed product policy

Since the early 2000s, TIL has been committed to a "sustainable safety" approach. In concrete terms, this means every day :

  • Design energy-efficient products: Control unit at less than 1 W for BBC/HQE buildings (3x the market offer)
  • Improve product lifespan: MTBF of 20 years for the CUBE range.
  • Help reduce the use of toxic products (fewer batteries, RoHS and REACH compliance, etc.).
  • Improve recycling (packaging of shipments, treatment of electronic waste, etc.).
  • Encourage the imagination of our engineers and all our employees for internal improvements or new solutions.

An ambitious social policy

TIL wants to rise to the challenge of remaining a ʺheureuseʺ SME, with a strong team spirit, focused on improving performance and the quality of customer service. In concrete terms, this means every day :

  • Encouraging autonomy and personal development.
  • An ambitious training and development policy : 2011 DIF Awards, PACA 2020 CSR and Social Anticipation Award.
  • Actions relating to recruitment and professional integration: Label Emplitude for employment.
  • Significant employee shareholding.
  • Gender equality* in the workplace
*For 2023, on 12/31: total points obtained : 35, number of employees taken into account for the calculation : 78, index: not calculable.

ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certification

TIL is one of the first companies to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification, which marks three strong management commitments:

  • Improve customer focus.
  • Control the chain between company departments.
  • Provide tools for greater efficiency for all TIL players.

In 2019, TIL continued its commitment to continuous improvement with the certification of all design, manufacturing, sales, training and related Department activities to ISO 45001 : 2019. The quality management system in place is based on :

  • Development at the cutting edge of the latest technologies, based on a permanent focus on markets and customers.
  • Compliance with legal and other requirements applicable to the company.
  • Maintaining the organizational structure and resources needed for continuous improvement in the control of our activities.
  • Regular evaluation of the results obtained to ensure the best possible responsiveness and competitiveness.

The VITAPROTECH Group's CSR policy

Reinforced by the Group's ambitions, TIL's environmental and social initiatives are numerous.

In fact, the VITAPROTECH Group has signed up to the UN Global Compact, committing all its companies to its 10 principles of sustainable development.

This strong CSR commitment was rewarded by our ECOVADIS Gold Medal assessment in 2020.
